Karl Kempton
Karl Kempton lives with his beloved wife, Ruth, in Oceano, California. He has been composing visual poetry and visual text art since the early 1970s. A wide range of his work has been published by independent small press publications, over 50 anthologies and 45 titles and on the web. He edited and published the international journal of visual poetry Kaldron between 1976 and 1991. He conceived & co-founded LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL, a poetry festival in San Luis Obispo in 1983, and a monthly reading series, Corners of the Mouth in 1984.
