Uncle Drew's Lysergic Backbrain Apocalypse (Slight Return)

I woke up to sunlight and Protein Bob urinating in the toilet above me.

“Wakey wakey,” he said.

I got up off the floor. Candi was gone. “What time is it?”

“‘Bout eleven. You ready to split? Everyone’s complaining about you being in here.”

“Yeah….I guess.” My body was still all knotted up.

“You happy you finally got your turn?”

I ignored that. I splashed cold water on my face. “I’m hungry. You working today?”

“Yeah---going in at four.”

“Me too----you wanna go do Chinese?”

“Shit. Do I wanna do Chinese?”
