The Feasibility
by Sarah Gamutan

The certainty that the longing of greener pasture
Won’t stop us from bleeding. Impoverished individuals
Will still long for the ray of light just like the Tyndall
Effect– the existence of cosmic motion in those

Particles( the feasibility of freedom). The faultless
Conformity to the world is human's submissiveness
Cosmic Inadvertency and carelessness of souls

The ubiquity of scads of money and persistence
Of consumption do scare my mankind when every
Non human being gets depleted– the feasibility of
Scarcity. The prophesy of progenitors will drown

My soul for they foretell my heritage and their
Existence no more. My corpse will not sing with
The dirge if the reason of death is penury.
In that case, I shan't live.

The feasibility that my immediate family may
Die of poverty appalls my bones in its deepest.
Extravagance subdues frugality of souls– the
Malfunction. It is the persecution

Of our existence– scavengers who live on
Nighttime. I elate the hard work of my muscles
And the twitching of my job

But it proves no good on either hemisphere
Of the earth– to the progenitors or even to
The future generation. I am crestfallen.
