The Disclaimers

The DisclaimersPunky, poppy, and potent, The Disclaimers present an urban sound and cynical lyrics that offer tongue-in-cheek protests against the intricacies and frustration of modern life, modern dating, and the complex responsibility of being incredibly big stars of the future. Their songs are sculpted and arranged, and you can hear the synchronicity in the various musical threads--the roots of rock-and-roll as jam session are apparent behind the obvious ecstasy in the complex instrumentation and the gleeful anger of the vocals. The Disclaimers have taken discord, and found the subject matter to be a perfect background for harmony. —JP

Together since 2001, The Disclaimers have gone from being a bunch of rock nerds playing their favorite Velvet Underground and Turtles songs into a bunch of rock nerds playing their favorite original material, with writing and vocal contributions from all members. But they'll still play Velvet or Turtles if you ask them real nice. They are Dylan Keeler, Dan Sullivan, Phil McDonald, Naa Koshi Mills, and Joe O'Leary.

The music of The Disclaimers remained on Unlikely 2.0 for one year, then was removed for reasons of space and copyright.
