Brother Ieronim lived in a ground-floor studio in a building by the river that the Orthodox Church maintained. Although he walked the six blocks, he decided not to take the dog; he felt as if Oscar would not like the gloomy atmosphere."

She wore a loose-fitting, polyblend, navy suit with a gold rope embroidering both the sides of her pants and blazer with the shiniest, not standard issue but ideally suited for her outfit, buttons most of her tenants had never seen—electroplated gold, shank buttons each with a different naval insignia..."

"She wanted to dance, swim, eat frog legs. She wanted me to read to her from Keats. No way, but I said I'd do it. I'd do anything. I wanted to hump her, hump her around the pool. I wondered if she was sleepwalking when she went out there at night. Could I take her while she was asleep like that? Just sweep her up and gently lie her down in the grass and just slobber all over her and finally slide it in and hump."

Unlike most TV series, which are written and shot before being aired, the producers of Tomahawk Sally wanted to build a loyal audience by slowing down the production schedule so that viewer feedback could be incorporated in the developing storyline."
