Had a friend once 
Who spent too much time
Thinking about nonsense.

He could go on for hours
About good and evil --
And where does the Universe end?

Or ... is a glass of water
Half empty, or half full?

He did a tab
Of purple haze one night.
Blew his brains out:
Over a woman.

Go figure.
