Hypothetical Display of Affection

If I gave you my new skin as soon as it formed
by the handfuls in baskets of lattice

or spoon-fed you fluid syringed from my lips
would you laugh as it tickled your palate ?

If I picked past my dermis, through ooze, tissues, blood,
dismantled my ribcage, presented my ventricles

left and right, sent trickles,
what would you say of my love?
