Eclipse Landing: 60 moons @voodoo rock
by Cecelia Chapman

Trans Atlantic Rage track "Eclipse Landing." Steve Johnson, time tourist, 60 moons photographs and cell video. Video Cecelia Chapman from Badlands series 2012.

Coincidence, serendipity and mean gonzo synchronicity brought this film together with my two collaborators. I did not know when I chose Trans Atlantic Rage's track "Eclipse Landing" that the next day's full moon I planned to film for 6 months was an eclipse.. until the night before. When I got up at 4:30 am a spectacular eclipse was in progress for about half an hour, just as I drop-kicked and destroyed one of 2 cameras. Then the moon fell into fog destroying the rest of the morning's planned filming. It took 5 days in a row playing around fog and clouds with the moon, until of course the last day when it was completely clear....
