Trousers

TrousersThe New York City band Trousers has recently gone on temporary hiatus, but not before producing their incredible new album, We Pitched a Hut and Called it Providence. Two of their eleven tracks are original, bleak-poppy instrumentals, but the album nonetheless proves that fast-paced, musically inspiring rock and roll can, in fact, be combined with beautiful and poetic lyrics. With lines penned by old-school Unlikely Stories poet Josph O'Leary and music written by the group, this band has all the angst and turmoil you look for in a contemporary band.

Check out the lyrical passion of "Life as a Movie Pt. II," or the incredible anthem that is "When I Go." And head over to their web site, www.trousersmusic.com. —JP

The music of Trousers stayed on Unlikely 2.0 for one year, then was removed for reasons of space and copyright. Please check out their web site.
