Paul Truttman was born in the United States in 1947, but raised in England and New Zealand. He returned to the U.S. in 1966 (age 18) to enlist in the Navy, making it a career until mid 1987 (21 years). He's been incarcerated since early 1988.

Paul has recently been published in Edgz, Blind Man's Rainbow, Sour Grapes, Crawling Eye, Plowman, and several other journals.
