Percodan Dreams

Percodan dreams:
A row of people pushed
Off a limestone cliff,
In no time passing
On a digital clock.

The gum expert’s say-so:
“Best legal high you’ll ever have.”
Barely felt Valium drip
Before checking out
Total.

Needle me in a voice
Like razors
(Someone sharpened
The fan blades for fun).

Mother licks the drawer clean:
“That’s more like it.”
Voice vacant, stuffed in a jar.
Dreaming of the waitress
She could have been.

Boundaries are good.
For you, especially.
