Decision to Tarantella

the greatest indicter who ever lived
wrote, 'i shall leave no memoirs'
so secrecy to dance is a must
not an uncommon posture by any
stretch of the tango until one's
feet have the jitters splayed
in opposite directions
yet for someone to partner
your signature they would surely
say this handwriting is inclined
to belong in Lucifer's contract
these graces binding us
together by bandages vitiated
sick dipped fever coming
to me when inspiration catches up
or am studying mathematics
then, shadows on the drapes
a light inside apartment's solitude
displays battle fatigue which abates
the venom gruels the scourge
and the neighbours are looking
only glimpsed yet accepted, somewhat
