The Consistency of Waterfalls
One was amazed that the ice could
run warm so quickly after the dreary frost.
Pumping lazily into my veins again
I am warm today, I will not fade away.
One was not amazed at the consistency
of waterfalls, streaming wildly; crazily
I flutter in the spring inside my body
and embrace the glowing embers of my soul.
Yet one was surprised how many tears can spill
from just two eyes.
