In the tremble of alienation                            <come closer>   
In the dark of unrepentant cruelty                      <come closer>   
In the morning after the longest night                          
                Of the tortured body                    <come closer>   
                And broken soul                         <come closer>   
                                
In the corridor of hopelessness:                                
        Death's door a mountain,                
        Feet too broken and frozen to be Mohammedian    <Come closer>                           
In lifeless blister of lightless spark                  <come closer>   
 
                    Come closer, the ovens are warm . . .
