Unlikely Salons in Arabi, Louisiana

Starting the evening of Monday, March 18, Unlikely's Art Director Leona Strassberg Steiner and Unlikely's Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Penton will host monthly salons of literature and art at the brand-new Zeitgeist Theatre and Lounge! At its old location, the Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center, Zeitgeist has been a cornerstone of New Orleans film, art, and high entertainment. Now, they're moving to Arabi, Louisiana (just outside New Orleans) and greatly increasing their programming of film, performance, and art. We're thrilled to be partnering with them to bring the Unlikely Salons, a new monthly series typically featuring one writer and one visual artist. Our first Salon will star poet Nordette Adams, who'll read her own work, and visual artist S. Gerard Clark, who'll present a slideshow of his work and discuss it. In April, we'll feature poet Paul Catafago and artist Leona Strassbeg Steiner. Find us at:
