MacGuffin

it was the most unlikely scene
   Sir Alfred Hitchcock
      sitting in the park
   a dapper fat crow alighting
at the other end of the bench
some distant activity
catches the director's eye
   now that was certainly strange
he comments dryly to the crow
the crow slaps his trousers
his caw/caw a raucous laugh
that's certainly one for the books
and on that commentary
they both resumed their pleasure
   parallel to each other
      tuning each other out
