haunted

Afternoon makes me tire
with all it's empty, nagging, boring talk
which finally translates into deep sleep.
The last words were warnings,
glimpses, trees and birds, warmth,
heat, the appearance of a flower.
Time with its dual personality.
Wide awake, into the night's shift,
dead for hours, the clock tells me,
'you've gone missed something,
but you don't know what'.
