The Difference a Suffix Can Make

In nations so called civilized
Man works the year around
In dens by common beasts despised,
In death traps under ground.
In economic slavery
He's born to answer "Sir,"
Because he is an employee
And not an employer.

Then sweat if you must the livelong day
And die unacclaimed, unknown--
Far better to toil your life away
Then sit on a stolen throne.
