writings and artwork by NRM

we put on peel off masks
that dried to ones skin
like a couple eh clowns
in search of facial reconstruction
you had painted a sunshine
on my hairy ass
that night before the fights
we decided that no 80's Nintendo's
in the entire world worked anymore
& that 200 dollars wasn't worth
a play station , so we sat in silence
with our faces starting to crumble off
my finger busy pushing the power button
we had seen all the movies
the cat began to bite the Mario brothers 3
which smelled like cat piss basement mold
so you, and me, we just sat,
staring at the flashing TV
passing each other a silent bong
with the paxil, Zoloft, lortab liquored eyes
my skin looking the same
