"Chatoyant," "Synopsis," and "Invisibles"

Chatoyant

Diminuendo is natural to departures. At variance
is the time sequence. Argument can be carved for
any issue. What matters is comfort of conscience:
one’s unerring bedmate. When questioned you toot
your righteousness, disregarding the bargains high-
muck-a-mucks hatch in the rink of social constructs.
As a-listers liaison sevaks quarrel and kill themselves.

Synopsis

Sometimes psuedosentences
create the best lines.
They are dispatches
from another dimension.
Held dear for one,
horsefeathers for another.
Both, valid and worthy.
Each as credible as the other.
Comparisons are for carpers.
Sidestep them.

Invisibles

Shortage of negotiating skills has me cringing
in corners. In my springhouse there is no stock.
Acceptance is agreement. Expostulating never
helps. Such is the lyric of love, when you care
you make attempts at altering the orbit.

Those at the marginalia of the political runway
now pilot this jumbo jet. Originators of delayed
flights gape with disdain at their modus operandi.
They aren’t well-versed with the wounds of the
vilified. The subaltern is the new sahib.
