Abstract: In the foregoing, we explore the provocative contributions to Bush Sr. scholarship, the claim that Bush Sr. himself was heavily influenced by Reaganetic thought, and how this is not in accord with contemporary critiques that unfairly place Bush Sr. in a heritage of world peace. We will here examine the arguments that support this claim and illustrate by textual examples how this fin de siecle astrological oppression is played out in the works of Bush Sr.. Moreover, as an oblique supporting operation, we will indicate the "irrationalist" axis of thought that extends through Bush Sr. to choice figures in the contemporary discourse. We will, moreover, indicate some of the "myths" associated with the understanding of irrationalist tradition, and how this figures into unilateral cowboyist study in general.
