Artist's commentary on "Ignorance Is Hell"

I created this collage in order to avoid an episode of depression, so I offer my excuses! I successfully avoided it but had to suffer an angry episode instead.

The "mega-church" in the left background warrants an explanation. The modern church, to me, was founded on money, power and egoism so I used dredgers to symbolise this material greed.

The ruins of the World Trade Centre form the base of this "mega-church" but one can also find a mosque bombed by an American missile in Fallujah, Iraq; a ruined Buddhist temple in Cambodia; an Illuminati truncated pyramid with the "all-seeing-eye"; a synagogue (built in Gaza and destroyed by Palestinians); a Berlin cathedral bombed by the allies in WWII and an Orthodox church bombed by the Nazis during the same war. A crucifix, upon which I have stuck a supermarket advert and a Superman logo, can be seen levitating above a mosque.

The high priests who direct this mega-church are called the Bilderberg group. Allegedly they are building a "brave new world order" using fear and war as tools. Their demolition/re-unification crane wields huge power but could break easily...please go to www.bilderberg.org.

On a lighter note I have hidden that cheesy burger Ronald McDonald somewhere...

I would like to thank you for having taken the time to read this explanation. If you have any comments or questions then I would be delighted to hear from you. By e-mail: adrian DOT kenyon AT wanadoo DOT fr. Web-site address: http://adrian.kenyon.free.fr
