t thillemant thilleman migrated to New York from the Mid-Western State of Wisconsin in the early 80s. t is the author of a novel, Gowanus Canal, Hans Knudsen, as well as many poetry collections, most recently Snailhorn (fragments) and its companion book of drawings, Entering Yoni Space On The Pouring Pivot Of My Own Lingaraj.

t's Three Sea Monsters (Our History of Whose Image) presents journal entries and poetic sequences to investigate the legacy of Pound's redactions to Fenollosa's original manuscript version of The Chinese Written Character as a Medium for Poetry. These pastel drawings are from the seventh book of t's longpoem Anatomical Sketches: Pebble Sketches (In Re Returns).

Works forthcoming or in transmission include The Special Body, a booklength essay on "prophetic poetry/art," and collaborations with j/j hastain: their Tongue a Queer Anomaly, a glossary of re-verbalized vocabularies, will appear early in 2015. A series of questions addressed to a devotee of Gaia, a work in progress entitled Priest/ess, will also appear in three volumes from Spuyten Duyvil Press by the end of 2015.
