excerpts from Of isolated limning
by Felino A. Soriano

amid a quiet reenactment

touching the hand of this stone
              shaded rub-off speckles

silvered blue-green synonyms

                            in the shivering shimmer-ballet

                                     around the knuckle-swell warmth

                                                                                               freedom returning
relaying clusters of tonal not-yet

described (thankfully)

and the unsaidness resembles birth in the frequent forms of hand
                              delivered interrelations

reflection or the secrecy of balance

partitions expose                         dualness,
                                            the duality of
persuasion's insinuating

                                            improvised or imported

implanted into the scenery of sound and
indicative memory of predetermined speckled

of how they silhouette into fragmented clarity

                                                                       lingers an autumn-origami

hovers paralleling hanging

upon a reach                  reaching                            relegated garnish

of a momentum's isolated

horizon as home

or: what the distance to disdain represents:
                           altered, an affirmation
rigid reason, the logic abstaining frequent-feature focus

long term longing                         landing                            into where the

purity frames
