Painters' Exhalations 206: After Fred Martin's #3

Flesh,                                                                                       (syrup-strong aroma)
raw symp
       -tomatic posits
reversing
  psyche's
naturalized compass reading
into
  such a disconcerting display
laid on its horizontal, pleading for
ironic
altruistic
consumption.
                        Through the
stifling simplistic mind-game of
assumption,
                        one may deliver to self
or wield into another's
neoteric following
                                       crime has bestowed
witnesses atop its fallacious                     architecture,
when truth of the philosophy of
this spinning moment reveals
the rawness of a pomegranate
lies atop a table
ready
for its multilayered
purpose.

Matching
                                the mismatched protocol
                       jig
                       -saw
puzzle
                affirmation smile as
completion runs feral (mind reality prior to the architect's hands
                                                      assembling logically).  Constant
                                                                                                                   land
of constant resuscitation
this by revision (mans' warped function as dysfunction spells
itself across the obvious blurs and blunders of
various unbeautified consequents).

Felino SorianoFelino A. Soriano (b. 1974, California), is a case manager and advocate for developmentally and physically disabled adults. He has authored 17 collections of poetry, including Altered Aesthetics (ungovernable press, 2009) and Construed Implications (erbacce-press, 2009).
