Unlikely 2.0

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country... Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money-power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. —Abraham Lincoln

I skimmed through it, so I'm not entirely sure how complex and profound this so-called analysis is (there are only two bibliographic entries for one, but I suppose that doesn't have to matter so much).

I think the real gender gap has yet to be taken seriously, as this essay itself helps exemplify. It's purpose is that of a typical work about gender focusing soley on the notion that it's always women that have the problem and need to overcome and it is mostly men making it this way for them. Nothing new, complex, or profound about that. More actually simple and stale.

And sorry but "cunt" really aint that beautiful--it just isn't, objectively speaking, just not aesthetically pleasant. Neither is the penis. I don't get the thrill people seem to get when looking at such anatomy, Thoroughly boring unattractive.

You know forget what I said above. I did not read it from start to finish (like I admitted) and shouldn't have even given an opinion on it. I would have simply erased it but I apparently can't.

What I said about genitalia, however, still stands :-)

Well, OK, I mean, aesthetics are subjective and should remain that way, but this seems kind of cart-before-horsey. The evolutionary necessity of cunts and cocks pre-date human aesthetics by such a large degree, that it seems that we should be judging our aesthetics by them, rather than the reverse; "this culture's sense of beauty is sufficiently [or insufficiently] cunty."
